Returns & Exchanges Policy


Defective or faulty goods?

If any part of your Complete BMX Bike is received in a damaged/faulty condition then we must be notified within 7 working days.

BMX.co.uk cannot replace or warranty any Complete BMX Bikes, Frames, Wheels, Chains, Bolts or any other BMX Specific Parts due to the nature of use they get put through.

 

If the product becomes defective after this time you'll need to contact the manufacturer directly to see if they'll cover you for it.


For any goods you believe to be faulty, you must contact us immediately at Sales@BMX.co.uk before returning any goods to us, the majority of problems can be dealt with before goods are returned. Please supply pictures and detailed descriptions of faults when contacting us to help speed up the process.

Should a resolution not be found and goods are returned, a refund, repair or replacement will be offered once a warranty inspection has been carried out on received goods.

 

Please Note - Whilst we will do our best to help and offer impartial advice, we are unable to make warranty decisions without having the opportunity to inspect returned goods for evidence of a manufacturing defect upon return.

 

We recommend you have your bike assembled by a certified mechanic. If you choose to build the bike yourself, this will invalidate any warranty with the manufacturer. After this time we may be able to assist with any defective items, for this you will need to contact our sales team.


If you have any BMX products that you feel are unacceptable due to breakage/defects we suggest you try contacting the manufacturer directly for replacement. BMX.co.uk cannot provide warranty on any products against breakage or damage of any kind. These items must be dealt with directly via the manufacturer.
If you have any other products that you believe are defective please first email us a picture and details of the specific problem via Sales@BMX.co.uk. We will then take a look at the details and get back to you with a decision and hopeful resolution.

 

Can I return my Item(s)?

We only ask that you return items within 7 days and that returned items are unused and with their original packaging (showroom condition).  Please remember to enclose your name, address, telephone number and email address together with your request for replacement, refund (excluding postage) or exchange and reason for returning the goods. Please note that we do not pay the cost of return postage, products returned must be properly packaged and sent fully pre-paid to our address. When sending your return please obtain a CERTIFICATE OF POSTAGE from your Post office as you will have to produce it in case of a loss. Alternatively we can collect items for a low fee of £7.00. Please Note: It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in a safe and secure manner, and in the event of a refund or exchange, in saleable condition (in original packaging and including all warranty cards, manuals and accessories).

 

Please Note: In some cases the manufacturer/supplier may require to see the item(s) before repair or replacement can take place. If this is the case we will inform you. Proof of purchase is also required with all

potential warranty claims.

 

 

Order Cancellation:

You may cancel your order by writing to us by post or e-mail within seven working days of receipt of the goods by you. You must then return the goods to us within Seven days at your expense in an undamaged, unused and unopened condition. We will refund the cost of your order subject to a nominal handling charge of £5.00 GBP. (This does not affect your statutory rights).

Wrongly Sent Item:
Please contact us direct to let us know and we can check for you if the item received is accurate to the item originally ordered. Have your order number and delivery address details available. Call us on +44(0)1794 840030 and we'll do our best to resolve the error as quickly as possible.

If there is an error on our part we will cover your postage charges back, however we cannot promise this without previous permission so please call us first.

How to Return my Order?

If you need us to arrange pickup for return or exhange you can do so by calling us direct on 01794 840030 , however please be aware you will be charged for the relevant costs of this, this should be however significantly cheaper than regular royal mail.

Please clearly state in the package what exact item you want to return and do not put any sort of tape directly on the product or its packaging as you will be charged for the resulting damage.

You will be refunded the cost of the items originally paid. Refunds are processed usually at the end of every week and will go back onto the card you originally paid with within a couple working days. The recommended method for delivery is via Royal Mail Parcel Post or 1st Class with some sort of insurance/tracking on the delivery.

All purchasers are responsible for the costs of return postage, unless a product was received damaged or not what they ordered. E&OE. Please do not put sticky tape or labels directly on the packaging or box, you will be charged for the resulting damage.

How to Exchange my Order?

For exchanges we send out the replacements to you FREE of charge if in the mainland UK, however you will need to cover the cost of sending the ordered items back to us. For international orders, due to the costs involved in delivery, customers are responsible for exchange/returns postage both ways.

If you URGENTLY need an exchange, we recommend you place a new order through the website and send the other products back as a return, but make sure you're within the period of time for returns to be accepted and make it clear with a note with the item. IMPORTANT: Please make sure you check delivery times stated for the product on the website before ordering.
